Scholarships in Australia
The University of Adelaide is committed to supporting international students with generous scholarships, making quality education more accessible.
Scholarship recipients will receive a 15% or 30% reduction toward international tuition fees when commencing at the University of Adelaide in 2025.Â
This scholarship is based on academic merit and eligibility is determined by the merit achieved in the qualification which constitutes the basis of admission.
This scholarship is available to:
International Students commencing with the University of Adelaide in their coursework award program in 2025;
Undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) or Academic Package prior to their degree commencement;
Applicants who meet the minimum score
Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand) that are enrolling as International Students;
Available for study in any discipline (some exceptions apply).
2. Alumni International Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to applicants who have successfully completed an award program at the University of Adelaide and who are applying for their second, third or even fourth program with the University of Adelaide. The scholarship will be awarded if the previous study from the University is the basis of admission and meets the scholarship’s minimum academic requirements.
Scholarship recipients will receive a 10% reduction toward international tuition fees when commencing at the University of Adelaide.
This scholarship is available to:
International Students commencing with the University of Adelaide in their coursework award program;
International Students who are Alumni of the University of Adelaide and have completed and been awarded a degree from the University;
Direct entry undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
Applicants that meet the minimum score;
Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand) that are enrolling as International Students;
Available for study in any discipline (some exceptions apply).
3. Global Academic Excellence 50% International Scholarship
Scholarship recipients will receive a 50% reduction toward international tuition fees when commencing at the University of Adelaide in 2025.
This scholarship is based on academic merit and eligibility is determined by the merit achieved in the qualification which constitutes the basis of admission.
This scholarship is available to:
International Students commencing with the University of Adelaide in their coursework award program in 2025
Direct entry undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
Applicants who meet the minimum score
Open to citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh who are enrolling as International Students and students who have completed their most recent qualifications in Australia;
Available for study in any discipline (some exceptions apply).
4. Ashok Khurana Scholarship for Outstanding Indian Student
This scholarship was established by Professor Ashok Khurana and offers a stipend of A$30,000, payable towards the recipient's airfares, living expenses and tuition fees. The successful applicant will receive a 50% reduction on the tuition fees for the duration of their program.
This scholarship is available to candidates who:
Are Indian nationals;
Not currently studying in Australia; and/or
Residing in Australia on a Student, Bridging or any other visa.
This Scholarship will be open only to candidates undertaking a postgraduate coursework program of study, on a full-time basis at the University in the areas of:
Education;
Agriculture (including Food Security and Wine);
Health Services (including Biotechnology);
Clean Technology;
Environment (including Urban Planning & Architecture);
Aerospace;
Resources; and any other programs as agreed by the Donor and the University (excluding studies related to Military or Defence).
Selection of the successful applicant will be made according to:
academic merit; and
a personal statement that demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities and an intention to significantly enhance India's development in their field of study upon completion of their studies.

5. Family International Scholarship
The University of Adelaide rewards international students who are family of University of Adelaide Alumni or Current Students. Scholarship recipients will receive a 10% reduction toward international tuition fees when commencing at the University of Adelaide in 2025.
This scholarship is available to:
International Students commencing with the University of Adelaide in their coursework award program in 2025;
International Students with Family members studying or previous studies at the University of Adelaide;
Direct entry undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
Applicants who meet the minimum score
Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand) that are enrolling as International Students;
Available for study in any discipline (some exceptions apply).
